• Upcoming Mount Changes - A very big announcement came last week from Blizzard. With the release of patch 3.2 regular land mounts will be available to players beginning at level 20 this is down from a level requirement of 30. Epic land mounts and basic flying mounts will also be available beginning at levels 40 and 60 respectively. This means players entering Outlands will be able to fly almost immediately…very handy!
• New Travel Options Coming with 3.2 - A few weeks ago we told you about the new zeppelin between Thunder Bluff and Orgrimmar which will be in the game with the arrival of patch 3.2. Now Blizzard has announced that they will also be putting in new portals in Stormwind and Orgrimmar both leading to the Stair of Destiny next to the Dark Portal. So now not only will you be able to take a portal from the Outlands to Stormwind or Orgrimmar but you will also be able to port back, hop on your new flying mount (available @ 60) and be on your way…easy as pie!

• More Algalon Firsts - Since Ensidia scored the World-first Algalon kill nearly two weeks ago, some other guilds have also accomplished the task. Premonition claimed the US first kill roughly a week after Ensidia.  Their kill revealed 2 new drop items: Pharos Gloves and Boundless Gaze.  Very nice, congrats to Premonition!

• WoW Art Exhibit on Display at the Laguna Art Museum - The Laguna Art Museum in Laguna Beach, CA is hosting an exhibit centered around the art of World of Warcraft. The exhibit entitled WoW: An Emerging Media Phenomenon offers up the works of fourteen different artists and their take on the world of Azeroth. The museum will have these works on display through Oct. 4th, so if you have some extra time to wander over there while you’re attending BlizzCon we would definitely suggest it! If you are not headed to BlizzCon, you can check out some of the artists works here…they are truly amazing!
• More Nerfs in Ulduar - Well last week a few bosses in Ulduar were hit with the nerf bat, some a little harder than others. The hotfixes, which were applied just under a week ago have changed fights from Flame Leviathan to Yoggy himself.
  
• Warcraft Game Fuel - Anyone who has shopped in the soda isle of their favorite store over the last week or so has likely noticed the 20 oz. bottles of Mountain Dew Game Fuel on the shelves. If you have somehow missed those then the in-game Battle-Bot pets have likely caught your eye, either way the WoW Game Fuel is here for a limited time and as you can see in the official commercial everyone must choose their side. So pick up a bottle (or two) today.
• wowTwitter - That’s right wow fans…there is now a Twitter just for your WoW characters. You can go on and tweet as your char. Talk about what you’re doing in-game, whether it’s professions, leveling alts, running heroics or raiding your friends will be able to follow you and always know what your character is up to. Kind of cool, I think. You can visit the wowTwitter site and register your character and start wowTweeting today!
• Product Spotlight - The Ultimate WoW Guide is a must have for any gamer’s library. This amazing guide package includes everything you need in order to level your characters, earn tons of guide and reputation. No need to search for separate guides when you can have it all in one package. I’m amazed by the quality of Dugi’s guides, especially his new Dailies and events guide. It has made me loads of cash and reputation in a very little amount of time.

To use a questhelper mod for leveling has nowadays become very popular. People love how easy it is to complete the quests, no to mention the time it saves. If you want to level up a new char, you need all help you can get to decrease the incredible amount of time it takes to level.

With the latest patch 3.1.3 there was some compatibility problems but now most questhelpers are updated to work correctly.

Don’t spend loads of money on a powerlevel service and risk getting banned from Blizzard (yes, it happens quite often even if the leveling service seem very professional). Using a quest helper is a better way to level up quickly and it works really well. Just be aware that Blizzard are coming down on people using addons that include in game advertising so make sure you choose the right kind of quest helpers.

Some people think questhelpers is ruining the game, just following the arrow accepting and following the quests without having to think or read what the quest is all about. For newbies, I recommend at least reading the quest text in order to get a bit of the wonderful World of Warcraft storyline.

There are several free WotLK quest helping addons in development, but be careful where you download them because several has reported to contain trojans or account stealing functions. An example of a free popular wotlk quest helper is the one made by ZorbaThut and his team.

However, if you want to be 100% sure to get a professional developed, tested and trojan/advertisement free Wotlk Quest helper that works for the latest wow patch 3.1.3, I recommend taking a look at Zygor Guides. I’ve personally tried quite a few of these in-game quest helpers and I must tell you that Zygor offer the most stable and easy to use experience for people in need of  ultra high speed leveling.

Just you remember to enjoy the wow/wotlk storyline and don’t stare yourself blind on the leveling speed.

Have you got yours? Seriously at the time when the Blizzcon 2009 tickets were sold out, there were many still on queue and got frustrated. Still, there is no one to be blamed for that, after all the policy is first come first served.

Did you know that Blizzard arranged a special game for those waiting in queue to buy the tickets (sold out right now so don’t think of going to get the tickets now!).

The game is known as Failoc-alypse. Take the form as Terran Marine with a gun, a Draenei Death Knight, or a Witchdoctor. The mission? Take down as many fail-locs as possible.

You still get to play the game even though the tickets sold out.

There are gossips about Patch 3.2 but here we have updates on Patch 3.1.3, which seems to be still in development. 

This is what we can expect from Patch 3.1.3.

Death Knight

    * Frost Presence: Armor bonus is now 60% down from 80%.

Druid

    * Improved Barkskin: This talent now also grants 80/160% additional armor while in Travel Form or not shapeshifted.
    * Improved Tree of Life: The armor bonus to Tree of Life Form from this talent has been reduced to 67/133/200% bonus armor.

Hunter

    * Hunter’s Mark: The ranged attack power bonus from this ability has been increased from 300 to 500.
    * Master Marksman: This talent now also decreases the cost of Aimed Shot and Chimera Shot by 5/10/15/20/25%.

Paladin

    * Eye For An Eye: This talent now deals 5/10% of the critical strike damage taken by the paladin back at the attacker.
    * Hand of Freedom: The base duration of this buff has been reduced from 10 seconds to 6 seconds.

Rogue

    * Overkill: Talent redesigned. Now increases energy regeneration by 30% while stealthed, and for 20 seconds after breaking stealth.

Warlock

    * Chaos Bolt: This spell no longer ignores damage reduction effects of the target.

Warrior

    * Blood Frenzy: This talent now provides 5/10% haste instead of 3/6%.
    * Bloodthirst: Cooldown reduced from 5 seconds to 4 seconds, and rage cost reduced from 30 rage to 20 rage.
    * Juggernaut: This talent now also increases the cooldown on Charge by 5 seconds.

Items

    * Death Knight PvP Gauntlets: The chance to refresh a Frost Rune when casting Chains of Ice has been removed. When equipped, these gloves now generate 5 additional runic power whenever Chains of Ice is used.

Raids & Dungeons
Ulduar - Mimiron

    * The flight time of Rocket Strikes has been increased, and Rocket Strikes will try to prefer players at range.
    * The Leviathan Mk II component of the V-07-TR-0N will become stunned during Phase 4 when the VX-001 component begins to cast the P3Wx2 Laser Barrage ability.
    * Proximity mines now deal less damage and have a lower duration. A small arming time has also been added so proximity mines will not immediately detonate on creation.

Bug Fixes

    * Druid Tier 8 Balance Set: The 4-piece bonus no longer has its effect consumed by Starfire casts in progress when it triggers. The chance for the effect to be triggered has been reduced down to 8%, as it was originally inflated to compensate.
    * Ice Layered Barrier: Upgraded to item level 232. In addition, the stats in the tooltip have been correctly adjusted to 78 spell power, 48 haste rating, 16 mana per 5 seconds, 52 Intellect, and 50 Stamina.
    * Pulsing Spellshield: The stats listed in the tooltip for this item were incorrect and have been adjusted. This item provides 69 spell power, 34 haste rating, 42 critical strike rating, 45 intellect, and 45 stamina.
