Of course some base knowledge of how the boss’ abilities work are still quite necessary for runs through Sunwell or Black Temple but the fights are nowhere near as difficult!
  
• Guild Achievements - The Blizzard poster Tigole said on the beta suggestion forums this week that the developers are very interested in the idea of Guild achievements and they plan to visit them in the future. I personally think this would be really cool, but there would be a ton of things to iron out like what to do if someone switches guilds…do they take the achievements with them? So it will be interesting to see what they come up with for this.

• Dude, Where’s my Title? - Well, here’s a nice little oops for ya, the season 4 arena titles were awarded incorrectly! From the tippy-top teams getting only the title of "Duelist" when they should be receiving "Brutal Gladiator" and the Netherdrake pets to players with a 2100 rating earning only the "Challenger" title. Blizzard is investigating the problem and will hopefully have it all sorted out shortly.

Blizzard has now surpassed another milestone! With the higly anticipated expansion Wrath of the Lich King soon to be released, new people have joined the neverending quest life.  They now have a stunning 11 million subscribers to take care of which of course brings a lot of monthly revenue to the successful company.

This impressive number was reached during the beta testing for the upcoming expansion, and they’re only expected to grow once Wrath of the Lich King launches November 13.

Have you got the latest patch for Wrath of The Lich King. If you do, then hurray for you as most of the fans have found out that there is a manual for Wrath of The Lich King in the patch documents. 

If you check the  C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Data\enUS\Documentation, you will be able to see a document by the name: Manual_WLK.pdf

This is where the mystery lies.  You will find a copy of black and white manual that contains an outdated manual but there are a few surprises such as cool arts, credits and shout outs to the contributors. 

It was first discovered by Maeglin of Khadgar in WOW forum on 18/10/08. 

Since then, thousands of fans made the same discovery in their latest patch and of course most of them are happy to have the manual included.  

However, this is not the final manual as we expect the final to be coloured when it is printed. Still, this is a good finding and something for you to hang on to while waiting for the real stuff coming out real soon.

As a Mage in my early levels, I thought the secondary art of ‘Fishing’ a complete waste of time. However, putting aside the idea of Fishing and continued my daily grind for experience is definitely wasting time because I can make even more Gold if I have known that fishing can help me to earn more Gold.

Now I’m about to impart an important gold making tip: there’s Warcraft gold to be made from the secondary profession of Fishing. For just a few copper coins you can purchase the skill of fishing from many a trainer throughout the land of Azeroth. You must then purchase a fishing pole.

Now a word in your ear, for here’s a tip. Don’t listen to those big girls the Elves, for when it comes to fishing, size surely does matter. The bigger your fishing pole the better as this will give you an advantage. Listen instead to the Horde in this matter. ‘It takes a big one to catch a big one!’ It’s well known that the Horde like to catch really big fish which they use as an off-hand weapon.

So, fork out and buy a Strong Fishing pole, as this will give you a fishing advantage. It also comes in handy for beating any Murloc over the head with, should one wander by and disturb your concentration.

Now the products of fishing are- well fish. But not always, for as your skill advances your chances of catching the odd loot locker increases along with other items of use and value. The fish can be eaten raw, but provide better sustenance if cooked, greatly adding to the health and stamina qualities of the food. The smoking of Sagefish for example provides the food with Mana. Any surplus cooked fish can be sold in the Auction House or used to feed your pet.

Now it’s easy to level-up the fishing profession. Just find a body of water and cast your bobber. Within a few minutes you will have caught some fish and increased in level. With increasing experience, you will be able to fish more zones (higher zones require a higher skill in fishing) and catch a wider variety of fish. Many of these fish can be cooked (thus increasing your cooking skill) or eaten, and some are required as ingredients in alchemical recipes and thus in demand in the Auction House.

Remember, fishing is a way to earn Gold and you should explore more in the areas to expand your Gold making experience.

A pre-release patch for Wrath of The Lich King will be available in the coming weeks. This is similar to what Blizzard did before the release of The Burning Crusade.

Among the content in the patch are:

• New class spells and talents
• Stormwind Harbor
• Barbershops in capital cities
• Zeppelin towers outside of Orgrimmar and Tirisfal Glades
• Two brand-new Arenas featuring challenging new layouts, terrain hazards, and moving obstacles
• Guild calendar
• Hunter pet skill revamp
• New profession: Inscription

Of course, these are the most anticipating changes and features of the game. However, one thing is for sure, this is not the end yet. There should be more features and changes coming out before the release of Wrath of The Lich King expansion pack.

For the Burning Crusade players, you will be able to select Inscription as one of the two professions and level up to a skill level of 375 with it. With the release of Wrath of The Lich King, those who purchase and install the expansion will be able to continue their leveling in Inscription, as well as other professions, even beyond 375.
