Many questhelpers are now becoming compatible with patch 3.1.1.

Nowadays, using a quest helper to guide you through the quests is very common. People get tired of their old char and want to level up a new one, but who wants to spend ages leveling a new toon from 1-80?

Sure you can spend loads of money on a powerlevel service and risk getting banned from Blizzard but many prefer using a quest helper, since it is an easy way to level up quickly and it works really well. Just be aware that Blizzard are coming down  on people using addons that include in game advertising so make sure you choose the right kind of quest helpers.

However, it can be a bit of a no brainer, just following the arrow accepting and following the quests without having to think. For newbies I recommend at least reading the quest text in order to get a bit of the storyline.

There are several free WotLK quest helping addons in development, but be careful where you download them because several has reported to contain trojans or account stealing functions. An example of a free wotlk quest helper is the one made by ZorbaThut and his team.

However, if you want to be 100% sure to get a professional developed, tested and trojan/advertisement free Wotlk Quest helper that works for the latest wow patch 3.1.1, I recommend taking a look at Zygor Guides. I’ve personally tried quite a few of these in-game quest helpers and I must tell you that Zygor offer the most stable and easy to use experience for people in need of  ultra high speed leveling.

Just remember to enjoy the wotlk storyline and don’t stare yourself blind on the leveling urge.

Do you know the many editions/versions of World of Warcraft?

From games to stories, World of Warcraft really progress very well in line with time.

As we all know, each of the expansion has its own story to tell. Therefore, with so many expansions, there are many stories to read about. 

I am sure you might not care to know about this but I found out from World of Warcraft website that there is a timeline showing the progress of the game itself.

Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos is the very first game I ever encountered years ago. Since then, I find myself in love with WOW. 

Now with Wotlk, things just get better but sometimes, I prefer to play offline rather than online. Well, it is just me.

Do you know that you can dual spec in just three steps.

Dual spec is really convenient knowing the fact that with dual spec, you can have two specs ready for use without having to respec. So, it saves time as well. 

Now, to dual spec, you will need to do these:

1. Go see your class trainer. Bring 1,000g and be at least level 40. Make sure the glyphs you have on right now are the ones you want to be associated with your primary talent spec.
2. Ask your trainer nicely for dual-spec capabilities, and pay that 1,000g.
3. All your talents are now reset, and you now have access to a second set of them. Set up your talents as you wish, buy new skills as required, and add glyphs to your second spec.

Being a newbie in World of Warcraft is difficult especially if you have no idea what other people are talking about. You might find people using short terms all the time.

In order not to reveal that you have no idea what they are talking about, you will avoid at all cost to ask "what does this means?". However, there are some who are not afraid to ask, which is a good thing. 

Still, if you want to be better at understanding their lingo, try this one. 

Player A: IMO, I think Druid the best. 

Player B: STFU.

Player C: TBH, Druid is not that good.

Do you understand that conversation?

So, now you should be able to understand the whole conversation. These lingo or terms are being used in chat room most of the time.

Here is a few other lingo or terms to learn.

* Armory Update - The Armory has been updated to reflect the new dual spec feature that came with 3.1. It now displays both talent specs for characters who have bought dual spec and shows equipped glyphs for those talent specs. Ad this to some new buttons and some achievement statistics and you’ve got yourself a pretty nice looking updated app!

* Alternate Currency – Purchases made with alternate in-game currency (ie. badges, emblems, etc.) will now be refundable for two game hours after the purchase was made. This is new with 3.1 and has some conditions. You can read all the details in our blog posting on the subject.

* World First Yogg Saron Kill - We all knew that someone would down Yogg-Saron pretty quickly and the Euro guild Ensidia did just that less than 24 hours after the patch went live! The US guild Vodka was not far behind and they did manage to claim the first US kill. You can read all about it and see some pics by going to our blog.

* WoW PuG Helper - There are a number of sites that offer services to help you find and examine players when doing PuG’s. None of them have made it quite as easy as Zarkmark, though. The site allows you to rate anyone you come across in game and also allows PuGers a link to a character’s armory profile and quick access to the other people who have rated the player. There are not a lot of people using it now, but the more the better so go on over and check it out!

* Wowhead Releases New Talent Calc – Wowhead released a shiny new version of their talent calculator late last week. This release was well timed with 3.1 and has some neat features I was definitely expecting. To see a screenshot and read more about features click here.

* Free Playtime From Blizz – If you’re one of the many people who tried unsuccessfully to get into your server last week on patch day then you may have some free gametime coming to you! Blizzard announced this week that they will be giving one day of free gametime to all subscribers whose accounts were active and in good standing at the time of the patch’s release. Good one Blizzard…now if I can just figure out where to spend my 50 cents!

* Authenticators Are In - But only in the US for now. A few days ago Blizzard announced that the authenticators were back in the store and in no time the ones for the EU servers were sold out. If you’re on a US server and you wanna snag one you’d better do it quick before they’re gone!

* NetEase Takes The9′s Place - NetEase will be taking over operating the Wolrd of Warcraft in China.
