As a new player of Warcraft, it is hard to deny that there are all sorts of feelings right before you start your game. From happy to nervous and even excited are part of the process, which is normal. If you have never played any games before you might find yourself totally clueless of what to expect but nevertheless, if you can keep these tips in mind, you can overcome anything.
1. Have fun
Think of it as a way to relieve stress. Warcraft is not just about defeating your enemies and win the game. It is also about getting new friends along the way and enjoy your life. Why stress over a game when you can enjoy World of Warcraft whether you win or lose. When you have fun, naturally the game is addictive and you will never find an excuse 'not' to play the game anymore.
2. Pick the character you like the most
Enough being said, it is important to have a character that you like rather than following somebody's lead to avoid character abandonment. You wouldn't want to leave your character after hours of playing and finding that it is not what you want.
3. When in doubt, always ask
Have you heard that if you are lost, you will never find your way out unless if you ask. So, if you encounter any problems or difficulties, ask for assistance and you will be helped by many professional players of all sorts. It is when you keep quiet that you ruin your whole game experience, making it boring or total crap.
