With Mist of Pandaria starting its rise on the online market and online gaming scenes, there are still people who can’t keep their doubts to themselves. In fact, they have labeled Mists as the newest and weirdest expansion being released by Blizzard Entertainment. Old players are juggling their decisions as to whether to return to the realm of World of Warcraft (WoW) or simply let it go for good.

Mists of Pandaria is still in its baby stage but WoW fans are formulating their aspirations when they get to see the game evolve. In fact, majority of these ideas focus on how to actually bring back the old players who find WoW no longer interesting. Blizzard Entertainment has taken a leap of faith in releasing Mists of Pandaria in order to capture the hearts of new WoW believer: the casual players, kids and the female population. But the company has forgotten how the franchise reached its eight year reigning MMO king status: through its hardcore players and their eagerness to pay and play the game.

Below are three aspirations that old players are trying to get through to the attention, minds and hearts of Blizzard Entertainment creative team:

Get the PvP in a perfect manner

Players who have been with World of Warcraft for many years have been playing the game because many of them do enjoy the killings being taken place in the actual game. It is the achievement of killing foes in order to achieve their most desired reward that gets their heart pumping to play the game 24/7. Throughout every expansion, Blizzard Entertainment kind of forgot this particular feature and focus more on how graphically enhance the game as well as the lore system to flourish into something new to gather new fans. In such event, the company forgot to devise a plan B to execute when the old players never do come back to the game. With the Mists of Pandaria content launch and starting gaming pace, players do find it PvP a bit promising. This is a good start but will it recapture the old hearts?

High and low players interact

A tactic of alternate advancement system that includes mentoring should be incorporated. This gets higher level players to actually socialize with the newbie players and get them the encouragement and skill advice in order to develop their characters. This would not only get the newbie as excited as much to get their characters to level to those who mentor them but it is also a great way to welcome back the old players who seem to leave their characters in the gutter. Now, when they get to relive their characters they would not have to find it hard to adjust as there are guild members that would help them level up in order to great a better and strong guild to raid, kill bosses and get the rewards of numerous quests within the realm of WoW.

Let it be an open book

In order to get new fans and even the long forgotten old players of WoW craving for more and enthusiastic to welcome back the realm into their lives, Blizzard to open a bit information with regards to the content. A sneak peek of quests, massive encounters and other numerous offers should be present when players are lurking around the site of the online game thinking on whether to sign up for the game or not. This would give them a little preview on what to expect on the game. This is hoping for Mists adventures to slowly open up and let the world know what it has to offer to the online community.

If you are one of the players who are patiently awaiting for progress but has not heard anything from Blizzard, then you better lower the pride down and play the new expansion. You might never know that the WoW creative team has embedded all the surprises within the game. Remember it is for them to know what you want and for you to find out if what you are looking for has finally been incorporated into your favorite game. Give the World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria a chance to rise and you’ll have your own character rising at the highest peak of the game with the highest achievements imaginable.
