Things to Do in Preparation for Cataclysm
Gamers both new and hardcore had been anticipating when would be the final World of Warcraft expansion by the name of Cataclysm be released. Everyone had been eyeing even on its beta released date. This expansion is so major that new maps, races and class will be added. Much more you don’t even know if this is indeed worth playing or worth raiding until the expansion would come out. But as an avid WoW player myself, the time before the said update comes is the perfect moment to play more and reflect in the world of Azeroth. This is to ensure that come expansion time, you have the necessary things especially the basics to back you up.
Thus, let me present you things on what one must do prior to the update. This in turn is also a preparation for everyone.
• Rest from the game. While everyone might manage to play more in the World of Wacraft before the said expansion, it might be wise to take a little break away from it. Some people suffer from burnout on repeated playing of any game. This is a good opportunity to regain such interest in time. While you are away you can strengthen other matters both family and personal matters.
• Meeting the basics. Every successful WoW players and careers have a good amount of essentials in hand. One of which is gold. If you opt to play the game while waiting for Cataclysm it is best to store some treasures like the game’s currency. Much more it would also come in handy to get that perfect mount, master your weapon’s proficiencies, maxed out your skills and complete the quest on your quest log for that instant boost once the update is done.
• Friends and guilds. This is also the perfect time to recruit friends and add them to your guild. On the other hand if you already are in a guild, then power leveling other players including yourself is suggested. This is important so that you and your friends or guild mates will be ready. This is also essential for guild power leveling and experience contribution as well.
• Maxing out everything. This is the time to fill some remaining slots on your level and experience. It would be nice to reach the maximum level in time before the update. Improve also your profession, so are your skills and abilities. It has also been noted that fishing would be exciting come Cataclysm. Thus make sure to max your level out before this hits.
Thus, follow these steps and for sure you will all be set once it will be released. Make sure to participate as well during its beta stage and plan things out. Enjoy the world of Azeroth and take a few major leaps than the rest.

Two new races: Goblin and Worgens
With the latest WoW Cataclysm expansion, players can now access two new playable races: the Worgen race from the Alliance and the resourceful Goblins from the Horde.
Level cap upped to 85
Level 80’s are a thing of the past now. Level 85 is the new level cap for this expansion, as players explore 5 breathtaking yet dangerous new zones to unlock new skills, abilities and talents. Venture into the underwater depths of the forever sunken city of Vashj’ir, which rests in the Abyssal Maw Vortex. The more experienced players will find themselves far below the stretches of daylight immersed within the Elemental Plane of Earth, Deepholm, before taking the risk of losing their lives to explore the mysteries locked away in Uldum.
New Race and Class Combo
WoW Cataclysm introduces players to new combinations of existing character classes including Gnome Priests, Troll and Worgen Druids, and the most awaited Tauren Paladins.
