Create a Character

When you are ready to create characters in World of Warcraft, there are four factors involved:
1. Race
2. Class
3. Name
4. Gender
You know that there are Alliance and Horde in WoW and so there will two groups of races.
Tips: There is limitations to interact between Alliance and Horde characters outside battle so it is best if your friends and you choose the same group whether all choose to be Alliance or Horde so that your characters can interact with each other.
The races that reside on Alliance that are playable in World of Warcraft:
1. Exodar Draenei
2. Ironforge Dwarves
3. Gnomes
4. Stormwind Humans
5. Night Elves
The races that reside on Horde that are playable in World of Warcraft:
1. Blood Elves
2. Forsaken Undead
3. Durotar Orcs
4. Tauren
5. Darkspear Trolls
It is very difficult to choose the right class for first timer but once you have played up to a few levels then you will be able to get an idea of what it's like to play at each class. To save time, you can read up about the class and decide.
Picking the right name for your characters is a tough job. You will need to pick a name that will reflect you as a serious player and not amateur. Of course you can choose your character's gender between male and female. It is advised to choose according to your own gender although some people choose the other way round but just remember not to judge a person's gender by his or her appearance.
