Do you know the many editions/versions of World of Warcraft?
From games to stories, World of Warcraft really progress very well in line with time.
As we all know, each of the expansion has its own story to tell. Therefore, with so many expansions, there are many stories to read about.
I am sure you might not care to know about this but I found out from World of Warcraft website that there is a timeline showing the progress of the game itself.
Here it is:
Span of Years
– War of the Ancients Trilogy: The Demon Soul (Richard A. Knaak)
– War of the Ancients Trilogy: The Sundering (Richard A. Knaak)
18 – (Novel) Lord of the Clans (Christie Golden)
19 – (Novel) Of Blood and Honor (Chris Metzen)
– The Sunwell Trilogy: Shadows of Ice (Richard A. Knaak & Jae-Hwan Kim)

Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos is the very first game I ever encountered years ago. Since then, I find myself in love with WOW.
Now with Wotlk, things just get better but sometimes, I prefer to play offline rather than online. Well, it is just me.
You can read the real stories at the World of Warcraft website.
I am sure new players would find this useful. You will need to know the story to play along the game.
