How to Best Prepare for the Pandarens’ Invasion with Mists of Pandaria
The biggest MMO franchise, World of Warcraft (WoW) created by Blizzard, is soon to release their newest expansion with Mists of Pandaria (MoP). By now, the online game universe along with its millions of avid players is so eager to get their fingers playing and taking over the world of Pandas. Fans have been crazy making list on how to best prepare for the great invasion of Pandas come September 25, 2012. In order to give you a heads up and a gaining advantage from the rest of the pack, below are few of the many things that you should consider before the Pandarens haunts your dreams next month. So how do you prepare for Mists of Pandaria?
MOP System Requirements: Know and Boost it
Many of the players are confident that majority of the past WoW expansions ask for low computer system requirements that would pretty much leave excess space for you to download and save other media.
But this should not be taken for granted as the wave of WoW’s whole new story and expansion levels up that requires higher amount of system requirement. You would not notice it until you get to play with the Pandas in a slow mode movement. So, the key is to clean up the clutter in your system.
One way to leave your system free to welcome MoP is to remove, clear or turn off most, if not all, of your add-ons. To our beloved add-on junkies, have no fear. Majority of the add-ons major mod designers that were provided for during the beta phase should have been update by this time which makes it more compatible to the versions that would be introduced during the launch of MoP.
Prepare for Mists of Pandaria – Keep your head in the game!
Before entering a new battleground, you must be well equipped with a goal and strategy plan aside from bringing along your gear and weapons.
Know that is your goal before, during and after MoP is launched next month. The goal is not specifically pointing to spiking up those gold collections of yours but it would not harm if you do so.
Better set out your priorities in order to be a successful player during such Panda invasion. Do let these goals be your guiding star especially during the juvenile stages of the latest expansion.
Take for example when you have three gold-making opportunities at hand however you have limited time and could only cater for one. Then, what you must do is choose the one that would result to accomplishing majority of your goals. This would cost you less capital while profiting a lot.
Maximize Account Usage before Mists of Pandaria is released
Surely, you’ll think that you need to level up all of your characters and earn lots and lots of gold in time for the release. Think again.
Raising your characters’ bar of achievements should not be difficult at all at this point in time. Most of the achievements that seem to be time-consuming and too difficult to get have been rebooted into an account-wide format. This means that you only have to gather those which are needed such as hyacinth macaw and raven lord and then all of your characters would be able to use them forever. Again, such strategy saves time, effort and gold on your part.
Taking note of the few holidays that get to be offered in the storyline will help increase your characters’ points. This would likely happen before or after the release of the expansion.
Profession leveling can also be achieved with these mini holidays. Take for example the Darkmoon Faire. This offers your characters with +5 skill points once a month usually on the month’s first Saturday or Sunday.
Other holidays that would help boost your character skills and gain rewards include: Brewfest (September 20-Octobe 4), Hallow’s End (October 18-November 1), Pilgrim’s Bounty (November 20-26) and Feast of Winter Veil (December 15-January 2).
The next thing to do is to generate multiple characters with maximum levels, if and only if you have time on your side. Remember, the more professions you have on hand, the more gold-making opportunities you’ll have to face.
Leveling of characters these days can be easy with three key routes: character’s rested experience (giving a boost of one bar or 5% level up per 8 hours), level characters through the same zone (makes leveling faster) and simultaneous level brings your characters to having the same amount of stuff gain as they level (all of it can be mailed to auction houses which increases your gold accumulating chances).
Lastly, in order to make your characters be powerful, rich and well equipped for MoP, you must choose your profession wisely. Each profession gives you its pros and cons so weigh them according to your goal and needs.
The New WoW Expansion introduces Class Changes
Having to face a whole new talent revamp in MoP is quite easy as you’ll get use to it once you are in the game. The mechanics along with the spell changes that will be incorporated by Blizzard in this new expansion is yet another thing to face the hard way. So, you better be prepared. Here are few heads up on these changes.
Melee weapons are no longer made available for the Hunters. This means there will no longer be Wing clip type of melee abilities be seen in this expansion. Another, a new resource system is being awarded to the Warlocks, most especially to those having non-affliction spec.
Do take note of other changes to avoid a sense of culture shock once the Pandas invade your computer screens.
Adding a new character in Mists of Pandaria?
Before you get your hands on the new expansion next month, do consider this though: are you after for a whole new cutthroat adventure with a new character or enjoy the wave of adventure with your old highly leveled characters?
The latter would lead you way ahead of the pack and take on the adventure on your own. But having a new character, as many players aspire a reroll in a new expansion, you’ll be able to feel the thrill of greater adventure as the competition to level new characters gets difficult. You’ll be able to enjoy faster queue times on battlegrounds and dungeons, questing help and lots of foes to fight in the PvP realm. However, do take note that few days after the release, it would really be crowded. The choice is yours to make.

Then take your time to enjoy leveling your characters and conquering dungeons as you go on the Pandaria adventure. This would prevent burnouts which can be truly unhealthy for players who are hungry for raids, power and gold. Casual playing would give you the opportunity to look at the Mists of Pandaria as a whole new journey ahead and achieve great satisfaction once you get to your destination.
