How To Choose WoW Profession

WoW professions are actually trade skills that are designed to help the economic system of the game. These professions help you gather, purchase and even farm raw materials. In addition, they also provide materials for producing weapons, armors and other goods to help you earn profit. With 15 different WoW professions, how do choose which one suits you best?

It is not a simple thing when you are going to start the world of warcraft, you should choose the profession in wow, and if the profession suite you well, it will help you make a lot of wow gold in wow. And I haven’t played WoW for a long time and it’s my first week here on molten, so I thought I should ask for some opinions regarding profession before just going head-on to one that just sounds nice.

I have a level 75 Unholy Death Knight and am in doubt about the professions I should take up. Namely, I have a few questions left unanswered,wow gold since all the interesting links i found searching were broken:

I have seen as a general recommendation taking up 2 gathering professions in the beginning to get some gold. Wouldn’t this take too much time, compared to taking up something like mining – bs? (I also have school, unfortunately )
I was thinking of taking up blacksmithing, so I can make some gear for myself. Is this viable, or will the gear I make be too low-level by the time I manage to get it done, compared to one from quests / raids?
It seems to me jewelcrafting and inscription are more profitable than blacksmithing. Which one of these 3 would you choose, considering both selling and personal use?

To add, I have a level 56 mage that I used to get to the dk. I don’t plan on leveling it anymore, unless you say it would bring me much more efficiency, through doing the gathering professions on one char and the crafting ones on another, or would mean saving some nice warcraft gold by having 2 sets of professions (mining-bs + alchemy-inscription, maybe?). What would you do?.
