I have all those medium requirements and i still cant play while in Dalaran. Why is this? I was wondering if you could help me out.

    Thanks, Jarrad

Jarrad, Hard to tell without checking your machine. Mostly the problem is either low memory or slow internet connection.

Im having problems with my machine as well and im not sure why. Its pretty newly put together and its almost all top of the line. My old machine accutally preformed a lot better with less (Horse power).
    Current spec: On Vista
    intel i7 920
    260 GTX 896
    X58 EVGA MB
    12 GB Ram 1300MHz
    1 TB Memory
    Custom Case, Cools nicely

Not sure why my older system runs better while this one has trouble running at max fps when my old system could triple box and do it.

could you tell me the cheapest make and model possibe not including monitor mouse or keyboard just the tower thanks

  • My long distance boyfirend and I have been playing WoW since launch and have been on the edge of our seats ever since. It brings us all raid together and the positive social atmosphere is what makes this so popular.

  • Fisaranin says:

Do you think a broadband speed of half meg ie. 512kb will be ok for playing?

  • fj says:

I play on dialup. The only places I have problems are in Dalaran and large PvP (like Wintergrasp) areas. Other than that, I actually enjoy playing with my buddies only so I don’t raid. I don’t think I’d be able to stay in those without disconnecting anyway. I did manage to work up a bunch of honor and WG currency to get my chars some pretty good gear compared to quest or drop gear.

So, you can play on dialup, but only if you enjoy soloing or playing in small groups.
