There is no two ways about it: Getting to the good stuff in World of Warcraft is a grind. Certainly there are areas that are fun to explore the first time around, but it gets boring quickly when doing it over and over again with different types of characters. The player has plent of options at hand, that are legal and not-so-legal in-game. Using wow bots is risky, but puts your toon on autopilot while you do something else, somewhere else. There are so many facets to the game that it makes focusing on one aspect with an addon more sensible than not.

Guide authors have spent thousands of hours in the game, and have worked tirelessly to determine the quickest routes to achieve all manner of things such as quest completion, resources, drop rates and more. Players get to their goal of playing the best dungeons that much more quickly, and without the crushing boredom that comes with getting around the levels.
Success in World of Warcraft is in your hands when using a guide or an addon. Fine tune it to a specific need that you want to accomplish, or simply getting to the top in the least amount of time. However you decide to do it, you be glad that you did.
