The World of Warcraft (WOW) has fully taken the gaming world in the palm of its developers’ hands for a seven year stretch. Blizzard Entertainment developers show their deepest gratitude at how well the avid fans of WOW had truly welcomed their ingenuity put into each of the franchise’s expansions. But truth be told, the developers themselves are not quite satisfied with the success that they have on hand. On the other side of the story, the WOW developers seek out and put their brains to continually develop the franchise into a better, if not the best, course that the gaming world would permit them to. At a first glance, for almost seven years, a fanatic of WOW would appreciate every spectacular move that the game’s characters’ attributes shows during the battles and in running through all the twist and turns of the game. But when you analyze it carefully and through the microscopic eyes of Blizzard’s developers, you would notice that there are few fundamental attributes of the game that seem to be flawed in so many ways.

Blizzard Entertainment developers are towing the new expansion of WOW: Mist of Pandaria into its game brain garage to give it an overhaul. Greg Street, the lead systems developer, said so himself. Such bold move of introducing an expansion and new system to deal with will give the WOW players the opportunity to experience a new leeway as the story of the game goes along. According to Steet, the developers had a fun time in redeveloping and providing a rehash on one of the most essential pieces of the World of Warcraft game. In order to accomplish such changes, the lead systems developer himself asks the players their complaints on how the WOW franchise was played and made for the past seven years and these data are used to generate a new game development plan for such new expansion.

In the event of introducing to the world the Mist of Pandria, which clearly appeals to more casual players unlike the old avid serious battle minded WOW players, the developers had to dig deeper into removing the complexities of the old system and infiltrated the game with a new system of the talent tree. Such changes were more pointed out to the issues of unlocking and points investments to customize the talents every second level. Out with the old and definitely in with the new. The newer system works in the players favor as they now can choose from a more streamlined collection of tree talents every 15 levels which give the more customization power and character development ability. Street pointed out that such bold move from their new system would surely keep the new expansion in a well balanced and fun environment for all to enjoy.

The new version of the WOW franchise, Mist of Pandaria, was set to be released in the second quarter of this year. People are trending this topic for almost a month now since it was exposed during the BlizzardConn 2011. Truly, the expansion is giving a new look to the whole franchise. Whether it will be a good or bad result, people would forever remember that the World of Warcraft reigned and still reining the online gaming world.
