BlizzCon Presale Starts Today – For those who attended last year’s BlizzCon, you know that the lines to pick up merchandise were pretty insane and many conference-goers ended up missing events while standing in line for merchandise. This year Blizzard is giving ticket holders the option to buy their BlizzCon-exclusive items ahead of time from their online store! The presale event will last only 48 hours and will begin today Wednesday, August 5th at 10:01 am Pacific. During this time, the original ticket purchaser will be able to log into Blizzard’s Online Store with their Battle.net account and browse and buy the all new items created specifically for BlizzCon ’09. The items will then be shipped right to your doorstep…it’s that simple!

BlizzCon Virtual Attendance – If you weren’t one of the lucky dogs to get a BlizzCon ticket, no fear! There are still options for live coverage of the event for a fraction of the ticket price! If you are a DirectTV customer you can order up the two day pay-per-view package for $39.95. For those of you who are not DirectTV customers, don’t worry you can order the internet streaming footage for the same $39.95 price tag. Both will include coverage of all main stage presentations including the opening ceremony, tournament coverage, exclusive interviews and commentaries and much more!
