Brewfest in World of Warcraft has now begun. As a matter of fact, this is one of the most anticipated events in the mentioned game realm. Regardless of location, you will likely feel the Brewfest spirit and the joy of the occasion.

If you happen to be a new player in World of Warcraft, you would likely be amazed and surprised by this kind of event. Should you have no information about it, here’s a good place for you to start in order to get the essence of the event. Hence, better read through and see what the event can eventually offer you and some Brewfest Prize Tokens.

The WoW Brewfest is one special holiday which is situated in major cities around the World of Azeroth. Various festivities are held in these cities for you to look at and enjoy. In case you would like to go directly to the main event, you can haead to Ironforge for theAlliance or perhaps Orgrimmar in the case for the Horde. Festival areas are normally situated outside the main gate.

Brewfest is well known for its various achievements, items and unique quests. Holiday items that are necessary for achievements can be easily purchased. These are pretty cheap since it will only cost you a specific amount of copper or silver from several Brewfest vendors. However, some requires some Brewfest Prize Tokens. These are considered one special currency that will only be awarded during the said festivities.

Getting a Brewfest Prize Tokens can be achieved in a variety of ways. These can be garnered upon accomplishing various quests. Some of these quests are non repeatable while others can be done on a daily basis. You may also get some of these by simply delivering kegs for every 18 hours or so.

If ever you are interested in getting the Brewfest tokens, non repeatable quests are available. These are Chug and Chuck, Direbrew’s Dire Brew, Pink Elekks on Parade and There and Back Again. These can be done by both the Alliance and the Horde group. Chug and Chuck upon completion can award you 10 brewfest tokens. 40 tokens will be given upon completing the Direbrew’s Dire Brew and Pink Elekks on Parade. There and Back Again is one unique quest even though it will only give you 10 tokens. This somehow unlocks the daily racing option which in turn can give you more token opportunities.

Aside from the non repeatable quests, you can also perform daily quests over and over again. First in line is Bark for brewery. This is done by simply racing a rental ram around the city and several locations specified. Several breweries fond in the central festival area can give you this quest and will give you 15 tokens upon completion. But this can be done once every single day. Another daily quest that you can perform is the This One Time, When I Was Drunk. Dark Iron dwarves attack the festival areas every 30 minutes. What you must do is to fight them off. Soon after, they will drop one large cog that can be redeemed for 10 tokens. Last daily quest is the ram racing. This is in close relation to the Bark for Brewery quest. However, the Ram Racing Master can give you a chance to run kegs for every 18 hours. The number of tokens received will be dependent on your skill.

These are just some of the things you can duly anticipate with the World of Warcraft Brewfest Prize Tokens and festivities. As such, there are still more that you can do and even enjoy. Hence, go out and have fun for this kind of activity won’t last.

WoW’s Brewfest is one special event in World of Warcraft. This is one holiday which is based on the Bavarian’s Oktoberfest. In here you will see a lot of quests being done, many novelty items such as kegs, riding rams and outfits. This started way back years ago in the span of two weeks from September 20 to October 4. The main events are housed outside the Ironforge and Orgrimmar. You will also find a few beer gardens in some of the cities of the World of Azeroth.

As a matter of fact, the Brewfest is one anticipated event in the World of Azeroth. There are in fact many things you can look forward to in here. If ever you are in doubt with regards to the things that you can get out from the event, here are some points that you can anticipate.

Item 1: Brew. Since this is a Brewfest occasion, the essence is within the brew. During these dates, brews are sold cheap while some are even free. There are three brew vending stalls that you can find for various levels. Two of it sells unique brew selections being sold by ogre brew vendors. The brews available are alcoholic but in turn can refresh mana and provide one well fed buff.

Item 2: Mounts. This occasion also has its own brewfest mounts that you can buy and use. However since 2008, these mounts will no longer be bought using the token system. As such should you wish to have one, you can go to Blackrock Depths in order to defeat Coren Direbrew. He is one boss who is good at summoning which closely resembles Headless Horseman. The mount however is not assured to be drop yet it is also not faction specific. Other mount that you can possibly get will be the ram mount which is unlocked once the quest will be completed.

Item 3: Non-combat pets. Aside from mounts, you can actually get non combat pets as well. This can be rewarded after completing the quest Catch The Wild Wolpertinger for both Alliance and the Horde. This in turn will award you the Wolpertinger’s Tankard. In addition, this is one achievement which is required for the most coveted brewmaster title. Aside from the Tankard, you will also get the Pint-Sized Pink Pachyderm that is sold at any Brewfest Token Redeemers in exchange for 100 tokens.

These are just an ample amount of things you can get during the WoW’s Brewfest festivities. In fact, there’s still a lot more that you can get and even enjoy. Thus, don’t be left out better go to the major cities or perhaps the main ones to get a taste of some brew and fun.

It's September and the most anticipated event in the World of Wacraft is here. Check out what is it and what you can even do and have.

For those of you who don’t know or are new into the world of Azeroth, Brewfest is a holiday which is similarly yet loosely based on the Bavarian Oktoberfest. During this holiday, there are a lot of quests, outfits, kegs and of course, riding rams. Last 2008, it began on September and ended on October 4th, with the events just happening outside of Ironforge and Orgimmar, along with various beer gardens scattered across different cities.

Quoted from the World of Warcraft Folklore:

Celebrated by both the Horde and the Alliance, the Brewfest is a time to enjoy the fermented fruits of the harvest: pretzels, cheese, and booze! The competing breweries Thunderbrew, Barleybrew, and the Ogres, all come together outside of all the major cities in a bid to outdo each other with their special ales, meads, and beers. Brave adventurers are invited to sit back, take a pull, and sample the finest wares these brewers have to offer!

There are a lot of things happening during Brewfest, along with nifty quests, prizes, tokens and all the brew that you’ll ever need. Since Brewfest 2008, the mounts are no longer available via token exchange. Instead, players will have to venture Blackrock Depths and defeat Coren Direbrew, a boss encounter which has a similar summoning method to that of the Headless Horseman. These mounts are not faction-specific, so players can vie for the chance to loot a Great Brewfest Kodo or Swift Brewfest Ram.

There are also different events like Dark Iron Attacks, wherein Dark Iron Dwarves interrupt the Brewfest camps outside of Orgrimmar and Ironforge and you have to prevent them from stealing the brew by hitting them with a beer mug. There are also the Racing Rams and Keg Delivery events, both of which are events that players can participate on without having to worry about level-based mechanics.

These are just some of what you can expect during a month long Brewfest in Azeroth, and some players look forward to this event.

Don’t miss out on this beer-filled event and log in to your World of Warcraft account now.

These are very useful tips so be sure to read all of them carefully. You might be able to win something if you emerge as the winner so good luck.

Take a walk (or run) up and down the course before you start the race. Find out where all of the apple barrels are on the course. There should be one at the beginning, one at the end, and two spaced out in the middle. You don’t need all four of them, but knowing where they are is the important part.

Let’s pick which ones you want to use. Let’s number them: The barrel at the beginning is #1, and they’re in numerical order from there, #4 at the end. Ignore #1 and #3. Pretend they don’t exist. They aren’t there. There are only two apple buckets, #2 and #4.

Put your ram reins on your action bar somewhere, don’t try to click it in your bags(Ed’s note: I usually bind them to the E key, since I almost never strafe, and it’s just a short reach away from the movement keys). You want to steer with your mouse, and use your other hand to mash the hotkey is much as possible. You can do this entire race full speed in the red. If you hit barrel #2 and #4 every time you pass them, you’ll never need to slow down.

Get a feel for how close/far you need to be from the NPCs to get a barrel and/or turn in the barrel. You don’t need to get all up in their face, so you can save a few seconds each time getting a feel for this.

Why am I using barrels 2 and 4 and not 1 and 3? Because on the Alliance side, barrel 1 is inside some stupid tent that doesn’t let my ram get back out without getting stuck and I waste a ton of time.

Finally, steady wins the race here, and in the barking quests as well. Don’t panic about the time; just get into a rhythm and try to stay there.

Have you heard of Brewfest? It is the traditional event for all the World of Warcraft players and this time it will be held from 20 September to 4 October. Think you are going to miss out on this event? You better don’t because there are many kegs waiting for you and activities to participate in. Hurry up!

Type : Brewfest
Date : September 20 – October 4
Location : The main Brewfest festivals are located near Orgrimmar and Ironforge. Beer gardens will also be set up outside of Silvermoon City, Darnassus, Undercity, Stormwind, Thunder Bluff, the Exodar, and Shattrath.

Enjoying the Brew

Complimentary mugs filled with fresh, foamy beer sit atop tables outside of all the major cities. If you drink one down while standing near one of the brewers’ stands outside of Ironforge or Orgrimmar, one of their assistants will toss you a new mug. You can also fill up your empties at any of the kegs sitting near the brewers’ stands. At Brewfest, you’ll never have to worry about how you’ll quench your thirst!

Things To Do

Brewfest is about more than just sampling fine ales from all over Azeroth and Outland. Read on to find out what mighty deeds you can do while quenching your thirst

Ram Racing

In the spirit of Brewfest, adventurers can attempt to prove their ram-riding skills by speaking with Neill Ramstein or Ram Master Ray. Before they’ll trust you with their precious rams, though, you’ll need to prove you can control one! Once you’ve proven your expertise at handling the rams, you can earn Brewfest Prize Tokens by picking up kegs of brew from Kharanos or Razor Hill and bringing them back to the fest.

Seek the Saboteurs

It’s time to track down the source of the Dark Iron attacks and end them once and for all. Players will follow a trail of evidence that leads to Blackrock Depths, where parties of five players can do battle with the mastermind behind the attacks – Coren Direbrew. Direbrew is a special boss who can be encountered for the duration of Brewfest, and drops special rewards including epic weapons, trinkets, and rare mounts. Don’t let him destroy any more precious beer!

Brew of the Month Club

Some say it’s the best club in Azeroth! For 200 Brewfest Tokens, you too can join the exclusive "Brew of the Month" Club. Once a member, you are sent a new brew in the mail every month, each with different properties. If the brew is to your liking, you can purchase more from specific vendors in Ironforge or Orgrimmar. Membership lasts one year and will need to be renewed the following year – but what a flavorful and refreshing year that will be.

Barkers Wanted

The representatives of Azeroth’s major breweries want adventurers to help advertise their brews in Orgrimmar and Ironforge; just speak to one of the brewers for Barleybrew or Thunderbrew outside of Ironforge or T’chali’s Voodoo Brewery or Drohn’s Distillery outside of Orgrimmar to get started. You’ll be given a ram to hurry you on your way, spreading the word around Orgrimmar or Ironforge about who makes the best brew.

Defend the Fest

The Dark Iron Clan dwarves are raiding Brewfest once again, trying to ruin the event for everyone. As a hero of the Alliance or Horde, it is your job to put an end to the attacks – and maybe find out why they’ve decided to crash the party in the process. The Dark Iron Clan dwarves invasions occur every half hour. The pesky attackers target the kegs that dispense the free brew. If you’re around when the Dark Iron dwarves show up, lend a hand and protect the beer!

  Ticket Exchange

Brewfest has undergone some changes since its first year. The currency for Brewfest prizes is now Brewfest tokens instead of tickets. If you have tickets from previous years, you can exchange them for tokens.

  Ceremonial Keg-Tapping

Each day at 6:15 AM and 6:15 PM server time, High Tinker Mekkatorque (Ironforge) and Vol’jin (Orgrimmar) come out to the Brewfest grounds for a brief Tapping of the Keg ceremony. Witnessing the ceremony grants players a buff that increases experience earned by 10%.

Brewfest Token Prizes

Lastly, don’t forget to drop by Belbi Quikswitch and Blix Fixwidget to redeem your Brewfest Prize Tokens for some great prizes!
