There are five different variations of cooking in Dalaran. In fact there are many daily cooking quests that are selected in random given by any non player characters. For Alliance players you must visit Katherine Lee in the kitchens of the Heroes Welcome. For the Horde ones, they must go to Sunreaver’s Inn and the cannibal Awilo Lon’gomb. Be minded though that Awilo has a liking for gnomes.

The downside however of the cooking quests in Dalaran, is that out of the five you only need to finish one per day. This also counts toward your 25 maximum daily complement out of your daily quests. The unique parts about Dalaran’s cooking are their cooking awards. These are tokens that will not occupy any bag space and can be redeemed for cooking recipes that can be bought within the walls of Dalaran City. These in turn can drastically help you to move about 425 skill level in terms of cooking to even 450 if you are lucky. Aside from the great skill level that you can get, you can also benefit great gold count and even level as a reward for such completed quest. Upon completing the five daily quests in cooking in Dalaran, you will get the title of Our Daily Bread that can help you become Hail to the Chef meta achievement award.

In simple terms, cooking in Dalaran is a quick and easy way to earn gold especially in the Wrath of the Lick King patch. This in turn will also help you gain reputation especially with the Kirin Tor. This reputation can be very useful for instance bartering trades in the Dalaran markets most especially if you pay attention to a Wholly Mammoth.

Dalaran City is known as a magocratic city that was once located in the Alterac Mountains. Today, its current location is above the Crystalsong Forest in Northrend close to Icecrown’s border. It is actually one of the original seven kingdoms paving its origin way back the days of the Arathor Nation. Violet is its national color with a yellow flag against a light purple background.

The said city is very well known for their famous mage training. Since powerful mages had reside on the said city a long time ago. In addition the Schools of Arcane Magic can be completed within the city. Thus, if you are a mage in terms of class, locating where is Dalaran must be your first goal in order to come out as a powerful one after.

There are many ways to get to get there. Thus, if you are currently asking where is Dalaran, there are many ways to achieve such a response. Let me enumerate the ways and means as to how you can get there.

•    If you are a mage, you can actually talk to NPC or non-player characters in the Dragonblight located in the Northrend. Here you can ask to learn the teleport skill which you can then be use to go to Dalaran. But learning the said technique is not that easy. You need to complete the Attunement to Dalaran quest which would be made available when you reach the 71st level.

•    If you are currently at level 74 going where to Dalaran is simple. You can simply finish the Magical Kingdom of Dalaran quest that can be given by several Kirin Tor members. But as a note, they can only portal you to Dalaran once. So use it wisely.

•    You can use a set of crystals to so as to lead where Dalaran is. These are Teleport to Violet Stand Crystal and Teleport to Dalaran Cystal. The Teleport to Violet Stand Crystal must be used first. This mean that you must had arrived in Dalaran before via the quests that can help you to go there via the Mage portal or Warlock summon.

•    When you are at level 80, there are actually 12 rings that you can get which will then help you to teleport as to where is Dalaran. These are the band of the kirin tor, signet of the kirin tor, ring of the kirin tor and loop of the kirin toor. The other numbers are actually the ring inscribed upgrades.

•    Since the city of Dalaran is located above the ground, the best way to go there that you can actually repeat easily is with the help of a flying mount. But before embarking on such you need to learn the cold weather flying spell that can be taught by a trainer at the expense of 1000 gold. However, players need to be level 77 or higher to obtain this training.

•    To get to Dalaran, you can actually meet the Dalaran Flight Master in Krasus Landing where you can pay them to get you there. A flight path is provided via the flight masters.

These are the ways on locating where is Dalaran and how to take yourself there. Remember, you need to be of higher level to obtain the skills, the rings, the crystals and the quests that will help you to go there. But with little effort and once you already get to Dalaran before, you can actually go there repeatedly. Thus, enjoy Dalaran City and enjoy its magnificence alongside the world of Azeroth.

Dalaran or Dalaran City is founded by the Arathorian Empire. It is one of the original city-states being formed. Ever since its creation, it has been considered as the venue for magical knowledge and experimentation in Lordaeron and the Azeroth world. It is located once within the Alterac Mountains in the Eastern kingdoms. Currently, it is now situated above the Crystalsong Forest in Northrend quite close to the Icecrown boder.
