Cooking is a skill that must be honed by every World of Warcraft players. This is a craft that must be worth taking and learning because cooked food actually adds buffs to a player. Learning to cook can also teach you many locations and sources of many recipes that are required by the different cooks in the world of Azeroth.

Cooking in Dalaran is a productive activity to earn more gold in the process. Wise players actually do repeated cooking quests to boost their gold count and even their levels. Thus, if you are a struggling player, then aside from fighting monsters on every location you might come into, why not try cooking in Dalaran.

There are five different variations of cooking in Dalaran. In fact there are many daily cooking quests that are selected in random given by any non player characters. For Alliance players you must visit Katherine Lee in the kitchens of the Heroes Welcome. For the Horde ones, they must go to Sunreaver’s Inn and the cannibal Awilo Lon’gomb. Be minded though that Awilo has a liking for gnomes.

The downside however of the cooking quests in Dalaran, is that out of the five you only need to finish one per day. This also counts toward your 25 maximum daily complement out of your daily quests. The unique parts about Dalaran’s cooking are their cooking awards. These are tokens that will not occupy any bag space and can be redeemed for cooking recipes that can be bought within the walls of Dalaran City. These in turn can drastically help you to move about 425 skill level in terms of cooking to even 450 if you are lucky. Aside from the great skill level that you can get, you can also benefit great gold count and even level as a reward for such completed quest. Upon completing the five daily quests in cooking in Dalaran, you will get the title of Our Daily Bread that can help you become Hail to the Chef meta achievement award.

In simple terms, cooking in Dalaran is a quick and easy way to earn gold especially in the Wrath of the Lick King patch. This in turn will also help you gain reputation especially with the Kirin Tor. This reputation can be very useful for instance bartering trades in the Dalaran markets most especially if you pay attention to a Wholly Mammoth.

So what are you waiting for? If you happened to be already in the Dalaran City, why not try the different daily cooking quests. As stated above, you have lots to gain with little effort to give. Thus, don’t leave Dalaran unless you get the most coveted achievement and you’re on your way to Azeroth’s greatness.
