Account Suspension - How To Avoid It

I am not sure if you have come across WOW account suspension or not. After all, account suspension is rather serious and goes up to 24 hours. Imagine the time you have lost when you can spend it to play WOW.

There are many reasons that lead to account suspension in World of Warcraft. You will have to abide by the rules and regulations which are:

1. No add ons allowed

2. No 3rd P Program allowed

3. No power leveling program allowed

4. No buying gold

5. No cheating is allowed

6. Never forget your log in details

7. No account sharing with anyone else

If you can follow these rules, then you are on the safe side. However, if you have decided to challenge Blizzard by breaking any rules, be prepared to face the penalty of account suspension for 24 hours or maybe even account ban if the rule breaking is severe.

Never cheat and always play safe!

Patch 3.0.8 Surprises

It is time to get back to work after such a long holidays and since we have talked about Patch 3.0.8, we should take a close look at the changes especially towards Enchantment.

While most of us expect minor changes, the truth is there are rather a handful of changes and mind you, those changes aren’t minor at all. In fact these changes are really important and you will get to save some gold when you are preparing these enchantments.

For example:

Enchant Chest: Powerful Stats - 15 Infinite Dust/4 Abyss Crystal -> 4 Dream Shard/4 Abyss Crystal

For full list you can visit MMO Champion

Otherwise you can also learn more about Enchanting which is written by Boubouille from MMO Champion

Meanwhile, there has been some news about restarting of realm - Argent Dawn at 5.00am PST today (5 Jan). It is to deal with an issue about missing quest NPC. So, for those who are in that realm, be sure to get the right timing.

Are You Affected By The Character Transfer?

Do you remember that a few weeks ago Blizzard had been offering character transfers for those who want to be transferred to a new realm?

Well, turn out that there has been a problem where the characters got stuck somewhere in between and it cannot be played by the player. It happened for a few days but Blizzard is generous enough to offer a compensation in a form of 15-day additional playtime credit for those who have been affected by this problem.

It was generous enough that Blizzard gave a 3-day credit some time ago but it seems that they are trying very hard to make up for everyone. This is of course a good thing if the intention is for real and by real, I mean the 15-credit compensation is as it is, not scam.

There have been emails around but no official notice so we are not able to verify how true it is. However, the emails are requiring nothing related to personal information, in fact the players don’t have to do anything, just log in and play as usual, they will take care the rest so I guess this is for real. Those emails are not phishing emails.

so, enjoy your free 15-day playtime, if you are one of those who are being affected.

Flight Path Through Zul’Drak

This time we will take a look at the flight paths in Zul’Drak. Zul’Drak is a giant troll city so be sure you can handle one when you are in the area.

Zul’Drak is the home of  Drakkari ice trolls and their Frost King Malakk. The capital is Gundrak. You can find old troll ruins scattered around Zul’Drak. The Drakkari have recently gone mad after they sacrificed their loa animal gods in an attempt to fight off the Scourge. The Argent Dawn has returned to play a role in Zul’Drak.

It is now a city of troll out of civilisation.

Now there are only 4 paths that are neutral so both Horde and Alliance can use. This is also known as the Argent Crusade-aligned area.

The paths are:

  1. Light’s Breach is where you typically start in ZD.
  2. Ebon Breach is the starting point.
  3. Argent Stand is one of the two major hubs in the zone.
  4. Maaka (60,57) provides flights from Zim’Torga.
  5. Rafae is at the small camp near Gundrak (71,23), providing easy access.

Patch 3.0.8 Coming Soon

The most recent patch note is known as Patch 3.0.3 and soon there will be Patch 3.0.8.

Get ready to embrace the whole new Patch 3.0.8 for your Wrath of The Lich King to ensure that you get these features:

  • Players may now create death knights on any realm once they reach level 55.
  • Bonus Armor: The mechanics for items with bonus armor on them has changed (any cloth, leather, mail, or plate items with extra armor, or any other items with any armor). Bonus armor beyond the base armor of an item will no longer be multiplied by any talents or by the bonuses of Bear Form, Dire Bear Form, or Frost Presence.
  • Racial restrictions on mounts have now been lifted. Night elves on mechanostrider? Tauren on raptor? You’re not seeing things.

  • A new mailbox is now available at the Crows Tavern in the Dalaran Sewers.
  • We have added over 60 new graveyards to Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms.
  • The run speed in spirit form has been increased by 50%. Night Elves in Wisp form will now move at 75% speed.

These are the general features available for the new patch note. However, there are many more detailed features and to get a full understanding of what other features you can get especially regarding Death Knight, be sure to check out this page.

You can get the latest patch note here (when it is ready).

Flight Path In Storm Peaks

This time, we are going to take a look at the flight path for Storm Peaks. Storm Peaks is one of the cities in Northrend and there are 4 neutral flight path, 1 Alliance path and 2 Horde path.

Storm Peaks as we know is an interesting place with many titan stuff and history of dwarfes. The Storm Peaks are a mountain range in the northeast of Northrend. This is where the battle between Aegwynn (Guardian of Tirisfal) and Sargeras (the lord of the Burning Legion) happened.

Now, let us take a look at the flight paths available.

Neutral flight paths:

  1. K3 (41,83), run by the goblins, is the entry point to Storm Peaks.

  2. Dun Niffelem (63,61) is a heavily phased Frost Giant town.

  3. Bouldercrag Refuge (31,36).

  4. There’s also a small cluster of NPCs up near the Ulduar instances, including a flight master (45,28), a repairer, and a reagent vendor.

Alliance flight path:

* Frosthold (30,74) is the hub for some essential questing and it is a dwarf heavy town.

Horde flight paths:

1. Grom’arsh Crash Site is situated in the north center of Storm Peaks.

2. Camp Tunka’lo, filled with those nifty Taunka, is in eastern Storm Peaks. You can catch a flight out of it at 66,51.

Good luck finding all the flight paths, whichever that you need and keep an eye for more info on flight paths for other zones.

Blizzard Latest Press Release

Blizzard released a press release confirming that there are more than 11.5 million registered players around the world. This new figure is due to the release of Wotlk on Nov 13 2008.

Wrath of The Lich King sold more than 2.8 million copies within the first 24 hours and this is record breaking as the fastest selling PC game around the world.

World of Warcraft has reached a new milestone where more and more people recognized the game itself and addicted to the game of course.

However, with a whole new year coming up, there will be even more people attracted to the game, subscribe to the game and of course play the game every day.

Hopefully, a new year also means more advancement from Blizzard and more surprises.

This is for sure every gamer’s dream.
