When you are new at playing World of Warcraft, there are a few tips you need to remember regarding earning and spending gold in the game. It is not so easy to earn gold in this game but when you have learnt the tricks, it will be easier for you. 

1. When you are at level 1-20, avoid using gold unnecessarily.  It is better to save the precious gold for future investment. At level 1-20, you will be able to collect most items you need through a series of quests and drops. Remember that as you advance the game will be more complicated and it is best to save the gold for more important investment. 

2. When you choose your profession, be sure to pick a profession that gathers and another profession to craft the items you gather into trade items. The higher your skill in your profession, the more you can demand for your trade items.

3. As you can pick secondary profession, so be sure to pick either fishing, cooking and first aid. These three professions have gold earning opportunities so it is best if you can pick these as your secondary professions.

4. The gold that you have saved can be used to buy a bigger bag as you will need the bag to hold your loot from grinding, quests and gathering. You can ask a Tailor in your guild to help you make the bag if this is not your profession. 

5. Learn the auction house and get the price right are very important and you need to learn this as fast as you can. It is best to master this at an early stage so that when you advance, you can focus on other more important things.

So, someone known as Professor Nardi has managed to get the attention of the people at University of California Irvine to grant him $100,000 so that he could study World of Warcraft. This is what you can study in this modern age, yes, a PC game or the hottest PC game in the world. 

According to this Professor Nardi, the reason why she wants to study World of Warcraft is because if this,

"Chinese people play the more challenging form of World of Warcraft almost exclusively. They find the less challenging form of the game ‘boring.’ Here, about 50 percent play the challenging form of the game and there, about 95 percent do."

The truth is, no one really sure why she would want to study that. I mean what is so interesting about studying the subject: World of Warcraft. It is a game and apparently she also wants to find out why the American games have more mods than the Chinese games. 

Does it matter, really?

Perhaps she has a problem accepting the fact that the Americans and Chinese are different. Americans tend to be more lazy and therefore mods are there to help them play the game. On the other hand, without mods, the games can be boring especially when you can't get pass a certain level.

It is frustrating so that is why mods are there and there is no further reasons to be studied. Another fact about the Chinese is that most of the WOW players play from the cyber cafes so it is not allowed to install mods on those PCs.

$100,000 is a lot of money and to be spent on studying a PC game? I think it is better off studying cure for cancer or help those needy people. I just can't imagine what she would do with the money.

It is official. The next expansion for World of Warcraft: Wrath of The Lich King is going to be released on November 13. This is going to be the biggest selling PC game of 2008. After all, World of Warcraft is the most played online game in the world with millions of registered players all over the world. 

In conjunction to the release, Wowhead is giving out 10 keys for the current beta test of the expansion for Blizzard MMO. Two keys every day starting today itself so don't miss out on that.

What you can expect from such a big game producer?

Excellent quality and popularity would be it.

Of course, these are the most important things to look out for such a big game expansion. I am sure you will be satisfied with the game results as many people have been anticipating the release a long time ago.

I am sure that every day many new gamers join the World of Warcraft league. While these new players find their base in the game, sometimes they can't figure out the features or game strategies and need some guidance.

Some of them will turn to their brothers, friends or other online gamers to find the answers to their questions. Of course this is a great idea as you can learn from other more experienced players.

Often they seek the guidance from someone they have known for a long time and shares the same interest but when it comes to such a situation where you have no one that shares the same game with you, you just have to find an online mentor who is willing to teach you.

You don't really have to pay for someone to teach you online, as most of the mentor is free of charge but occasionally you will find that people charge in order to teach the newbies so look out for scams before you pay someone to learn the skills.
