Two bonus abilities you learn are Create Healthstone and Create Soulstone. A Soulstone will resurrect you if you are to die during a fight while the Healthstone will restore your health if you are getting low.

With this build you can learn new spells as well as increase your DoT spells. The first thing you get is Improved Curse of Agony. Mana will increase with Suppression and Improved Drain Soul. Health and mana levels will be better sustained with Soul Siphon and Improved Life Tap.

Amplify Curse and Fel Concentration will increase your casting speed and ability. Your range and spell damage will be also be increased. The Curse of Exhaustion is a good choice if you are part of a PvP realm. You will also get Siphon Life and Shadow Mastery.

Your Dark Pact will be boosted by improving your Felhunter. Also Unstable Affliction and Haunt are two great damage spells.

After you get to Northrend it’s a good idea to switch your talent tree to a Demonology – Affliction mix.

Felguard and Siphon Life are a big part of this mix. Your Demon Pets will improve as you use your DoT’s for damage. The Affliction tree will increase your health and allow you to turn mana into health. There doesn’t have to be any downtime for a Warlock.

The Demonology build eats up too much mana to level you quickly which is why is should be added second. The Affliction tree though is ideal for conserving your mana and dealing damage. You can speed up the leveling process with Affliction by putting your DoT’s on multiple mobs. As you get higher in level and your builds increase, your survival rate will do the same. The Felguard’s ability to tank mobs with their Cleave while you use your DoT spells will add to the amount of damage you cause. There’s no better best WoW guide than at the Ultimate WoW Guide site. If you’ve battled your way through Outland, Northrend, and now are finding yourself deep in Twilight Highlands or Uldum, you must have reached 85 in Blizzard’s smash hit MMORPG World of Warcraft. With the latest expansion hitting the shelves last December, more and more people are finding themselves at the level cap. If you’re a WoW level 85 and now what should you do, you have several paths to choose from.

If you’re the type to enjoy raiding and instancing, then by all means focus on gearing yourself up. End game raids, like always, need better gear than can be found while questing. Focusing on heroic instances is the best way to find the gear that can help you with Cataclysm raids.

Once you’ve geared up, start focusing on gearing up through raids. If you’re a hybrid spec, make sure to gear your main spec first – taking gear other people need for their main for your secondary is really rude. As you get your gear, be sure to enchant and gem properly. This will give you better odds for getting into another raid.

Another fun thing to do once you’ve hit level cap is attacking the opposition. PvP lovers have two new battlegrounds where you can smash alliance or horde, and, like Wintergrasp in Wrath, there are PvP area dailies. PvP is a great way to take out the aggressions of daily life outside of Azeroth, and get some in-game gold, as well.

If you’re ready to take it to the next PvP stage, start getting your gear together. Arenas are back, and at 85 the stakes are higher than ever. With the latest season, new titles, ratings, and awards are up for grabs, so be sure your team is geared up and ready before you queue up for a match.

If raiding is uninteresting and PvP bores you, take the time after reaching 85 to work on your achievements! Whether you’re making friends across Azeroth to get exalted reputations, grinding out quests for Loremaster, or digging up fossils for Archaeology, the satisfaction of completing an in-game achievement is something you can achieve either in a group or playing solo.

If you’ve hit wow level 85 and now what is the question on your mind, take a step back before committing to anything. While World of Warcraft is a fun game, in the end it is just that – a game. Don’t let Azeroth take priority over your offline responsibilities. If you can find a happy medium, enjoy your time at level cap and enjoy the new world brought about by Cataclysm.

Grabbing Up the Instance Quests

One of the most effective ways to use your time while instance leveling on WoW is to queue for random instances while you are traveling from play to place to collect your instance quests.  DPS classes will be able to gather up a lot of the instances quests this way and still get to enjoy all the benefits of instance leveling, although healers and tanks may need to set aside some time to travel around and pick up the quests.

With the exception of a few instances that only have quests that for either Horde or Alliance, there are generally quests for the instances you end up in.  The best way to go about collecting your instance quests is to figure out which instances you are likely to pull first through the dungeon finder, and then head off in the direction of the entrances to those instances.  In most cases, you will find the quest givers for the instance quests in the cities that are nearby the instance.  However, in some cases you will need to complete some prerequisite quests before you will be eligible to pick up the instance quests.  This is why having a good instance leveling guide like Dugi’s Dungeon Leveling Guide is really a great idea.

Share and Share Alike

If you land in an instance before you had time to go pick up the quests for it, you can always ask your other party members to share the quests with you.  In general many of the instance quests are shareable, except for the ones that have prerequisite quests you have not completed yet.  Many players will automatically share their quests for the instance you are in, and others will share the quests if you only ask.  By the same token, make sure that you share your quests for the instance with your party members.  This is a common courtesy that will make the entire instance leveling experience even better for everyone.

Instance Quests: Content that’s Almost Brand New

Many World of Warcraft players who’ve been playing for years have never experienced the lower level dungeons, which means instance leveling has opened up a whole new area of content for them.  That being said, they probably have not completed the instance quests, either.  This means that leveling a character is now like playing entirely new content instead of repeating the same old quests over and over again.

Even players who have not been playing WoW for a long time will appreciate the many benefits from instance quests, which include better gear and more experience than solo quests.

Better Gear

One of the most subtle benefits of instance leveling is the fact that you’ll have access to better gear.  There are three ways you’ll be able to get better gear.  The first way is through direct loot drops, especially off of the bosses.  The bosses in the instances will drop much better gear than anything you’ll find while questing on your own.

The second way you’ll be able to get better gear is through rewards from instance quests.  The rewards from instance quests will be much higher quality gear than any of the rewards that come from solo quests.  The third way of acquiring better gear through instance leveling is a little iffy, at least in terms of the items you end up with.  Every time you complete an instance, you’ll earn a bag of goodies at the end.  There will always be a piece of blue gear in the bag, but that piece of gear won’t always benefit you.  It may be for a different spec than your character, or it may be one you already have.  However, it is still very helpful to have those bags of gear from instance leveling.  Besides, even if the gear doesn’t help you, you can always disenchant it and sell the enchanting materials or sell the gear to a vendor.  Either way, you end up with more gold than you had before.

Less Down Time

Instance leveling also involves much less down time than solo questing always did.  Sure, you’ll die sometimes, especially if you play one of the squishier classes, but if you’re the only death in the group, then the healer will be able to resurrect you.  If the healer dies, then some of the other classes do have resurrection powers also, so it means you probably won’t have to run back and get your corpse.  This aspect is a huge time saver.

There are also a lot more mobs packed into an instance than there are out in the solo areas.  On average, you’ll be able to get more kills per second when you’re in an instance because there are more monsters in a smaller area.  Being in a group of five people ensures that you’re able to handle these larger mobs of creatures.  More time spent killing means more experience and levels that come a lot faster and easier.

More Fun

When you started playing World of Warcraft, you may not have expected the huge world that allows you to play with other people you’ve never met.  But isn’t it a lot more fun to play things together?  After all, you’ll be able to take down bosses that are a lot more interesting than the ones you’ll run across while questing alone.

Next to their great damage dealing capability the Rogues are also known because of their ability to stealth and their preference to attack from behind with their backstab ability. They walk around stealthed in battlegrounds and arenas, sneak up behind their enemies and have an edge over them. Being able to stealth also comes in handy in PvE scenarios because there is an ability called sap which can be used on Humanoid mobs which keeps them out of combat for up to sixty seconds. They are also able to Blind a enemy for 12 second, making him incapable to do anything.

Rogues also have some stunning and disrupting abilities which makes them great for both PvE and PvP purposes. Some good Rogues are able to stunlock enemy NPC’s or players, which basically means that they can hardly move, cast or attack.

Rogues can also use some poisons on their weapons that either boost their damage or put some other debuff on a target.

The following races have Rogues in their ranks: Dwarves, Gnomes, Humans, Trolls, Undead, Orcs, and Blood Elves.

A Rogue can choose to specialize in the Assassination, Combat, or Subtlety build, or choose to combine either one of these talent trees. All the trees are there to increase the damage output of a Rogue, since tanking or healing are definitely not his thing and can even be considered as a Rogue’s weak spots. It is for the player to decide which talent tree suits him best. All the trees got their pros and cons, the one player likes this, the other likes that, discussions go on and on but basically it comes down to preferences.

What can be said is that the Assassination tree is usually chosen for leveling and focuses on the crit rate and poison aspects of the Rogue, while the combat build offers the Rogue the chance to specialize in a particular type of weapon, which is why this build is probably better at 80 once you got some steady weapons.

The Subtlety build focuses on the Survivability, crowd control and Stealth aspects of the Rogue. This build gives the Rogue some burst damage and this is probably why a lot of PvP Rogues go for this build.

Leatherworking and Skinning

Easy to level and quite useful, these two professions could actually be the first choice of a Shaman. Why? Simply because Shamans are mail wearers and with Leatherworking leveled up they can make nice pieces of gear for themselves no matter what spec they are. If they would like to make it more profitable, Shaman Leatherworkers could also craft mail pieces of gear for Hunters or leather pieces of gear that will suit Rogues and Druids. Another nice thing which comes together with Skinning is a buff called Master of Anatomy which will increase your critical strike rating by 32.

Jewelcrafting and Mining

Jewelcrafting could be one of your choices if you are playing a Shaman on the Alliance side since the only race that could play a Shaman are the Draenei and this race by default has +10 on Jewelcrafting. In any case Jewelcrafting is a nice profession to have and is best paired with Mining. With this profession you will have benefits of the stone statues that will heal you up when in trouble while leveling and even after, nice rings and necklaces and what’s the most important gems that you could put in the sockets of your gear. Prospecting is one of the skills that you will get together with the Jewelcrafting profession. Prospecting will allow you to extract valuable gems from ores that you will gather while Mining. These two professions are not only useful for yourself, since you can also craft unique-equipped and soulbound gems, but also because they are very profitable. Mining is also very nice because it gives a buff called Toughness which will increase your Stamina by 50.

Other

Enchanting is always nice to have since every character, no matter which class or spec will need his/her gear to be enchanted. In some rare cases Elemental and Restoration Shamans pair this profession with Tailoring, since they can make good casting pre-raiding gear with it and because they are able to wear cloth. Since they are casters/healers they usually stay behind and get no damage so the armor bonus of mail gear pieces doesn’t matter much to them. Nevertheless it is always advisable to wear the highest gear you can and there is definitely nice mail gear that could be also crafted with Leatherworking for these two specs. Alchemy and Herbalism are two professions that can always come in handy for every class, not to mention that they are quite easy to be leveled, plus a bonus buff called Life Blood which will heal you for 2000 over 5 seconds. Inscription together with Herbalism could be also nice for a Shaman since the Glyphs he/she could make could be very useful and there are a lot of different glyphs differing on the spec you have and totems and spells you are using. Engineering and Mining could also be fun since you will be able to craft some armor pieces for yourself and other useful gadgets.
