Levels 68-70: Utgarde Keep: — Technically the Wrath of the Lich King expansion doesn’t begin until level 70, but you can actually travel to Northrend and queue for instances as soon as you reach level 68.  In fact, you’ll find that instance leveling in Utgarde Keep for levels 68-70 will make those two levels fly by in just a couple of runs.  This is because the monsters are a much higher level than you, but being in a group with four other people makes it easy to kill them.  To queue for Northrend instances when you reach level 68, you’ll first have to make the boat trip to Northrend and then choose to queue specifically for Utgarde Keep.  It’s the only Northrend instance you’ll be eligible for.

Levels 70-72: The Nexxus – The Nexxus is a very long instance compared to the other level 80 dungeons, but it will certainly give you a lot of experience when you run it between levels 71 and 73.  Just remember that the last boss of this instance can be especially difficult because your healers aren’t quite geared enough to heal through the de-buff.  Just remember to jump!

Levels 73-75: Old Kingdom – Old Kingdom is a relatively easy instance to run, and it will probably keep coming up in the dungeon finder time and time again, so get used to seeing it.

Levels 75-77: Violet Hold – You can start queuing for Violet Hold at level 74, although the instance quests for this dungeon don’t become available to you until level 75.  Just pick them up right outside the entrance to the Violet Hold instance.

Levels 77-79: Halls of Stone – The Halls of Stone is another very popular instance, and you’ll probably see it a lot in the dungeon finder.  It’s also very easy to pick up the quests for this in the areas around the instance itself.

It was just recently that Patch 3.3.5 goes live with regards to the current Wrath of the Lich King in World of Warcraft. Many have waited for the said patch because of the inclusion of a new raid which is the Ruby Sanctum. However, to their disappointment none was released and even have a glimpse of it.

Perhaps as a player you might be wondering what is really with Ruby Sanctum. Why are players excited to experience the new place and the new raid? And what is the connection of Ruby Sanctum with the most anticipated Cataclysm expansion. Here are some details.

Ruby Sanctum is the red dragonflight’s sanctum that is within the Chamber of Aspects. This can be found beneath the Wyrmrest Temple in the Dragonblight place. This would be the new raid dungeon suitable for a 10 man raid to even a 25 player. Much more there are two modes to engage in normal and the heroic one. This dungeon was supposed to go live with Patch 3.3.5. However in an effort of Blizzard to make this world wide, the said raid was not contained in the recent update.

The lore here is that the twilight dragonflight eggs were discovered with the Obsidian Sanctum. However, Korialstrasz asked the Council of Six to destroy them. The said act was done swiftly. But then all communication with the Ruby Sanctum guardians was ceased. The mystic stones were shattered and the said place being breached is dire. The attackers were then tagged as the black dragonflights.

The Ruby Sanctum’s main boss is Halion. Players mini encounters include Saviana Ragefire, Baltharus the Warborn and General Zarithrian. There are also four mobs by the identity of Charcscale Assaulter, Charscale Commander, Charscale Elite and Charscale Invoker.

It was also stated that players will also have an environment preview of Grim Batol. This is a dungeon for level 86 players come the expansion of Cataclysm. Players would need to assist the red dragonflight to drive out to the Twilight’s Hammer cult. This will be a dungeon that involves flying on the red drakes with flight paths and different rank enemies. In addition, it has to be clarified yet whether the said dungeon was indeed previewed in Patch 3.3.5. One thing is for sure the Ruby Sanctum wasn’t when this update was introduced.

Nonetheless, despite a few disappointments there are still many things you can look forward with regards to the newest patch. It still delivered something great with a whole new gaming experience. In time, Blizzard will release the Ruby Sanctum raid. For sure it would be before the last possible expansion of Cataclysm.

If you think that Cataclysm is already out yet, better wait for more days and perhaps months. As a matter of fact, since it has not been released we are still under the Wrath of the Lich King patch. June 22, 2010 is the day that the new patch tagged as Patch 3.3.5 to go live for North American players. This might not be the Cataclysm that most players are anticipating however this absolutely brings new changes in the realm of the Wrath of the Lich King. The said release was filled with different emotions. Some were utterly excited with this patch while others were a bit disappointed. Ruby Sanctum was a raid that was anticipated by many. I for myself was also disappointed with such. However, it was said that the said raid was not yet released because it will have a different implementation procedure. Since the Patch 3.3.5 is being released a week before the European players, it has been decided to inculcate the Ruby Sanctum in one to two weeks.

In spite of this big raid not being included, there are still things that you can duly look forward to with regards to this patch. For one there has been a big change with regards to the chat system. In addition, there is even a ‘vote kick’ system. You can utilize this one as a part of the new dungeon finder feature. You can easily maneuver and navigate your way thru the World of Azeroth with the aid of the dungeon finder. Thus, chances of getting lost will now be made minimal.

These are just some of the things the patch 3.3.5 can duly bring to its players and avid gamers. * Frost Presence: Armor bonus is now 60% down from 80%.

Druid

* Improved Barkskin: This talent now also grants 80/160% additional armor while in Travel Form or not shapeshifted.
* Improved Tree of Life: The armor bonus to Tree of Life Form from this talent has been reduced to 67/133/200% bonus armor.

Hunter

* Hunter’s Mark: The ranged attack power bonus from this ability has been increased from 300 to 500.
* Master Marksman: This talent now also decreases the cost of Aimed Shot and Chimera Shot by 5/10/15/20/25%.

Paladin

* Eye For An Eye: This talent now deals 5/10% of the critical strike damage taken by the paladin back at the attacker.
* Hand of Freedom: The base duration of this buff has been reduced from 10 seconds to 6 seconds.

Rogue

* Overkill: Talent redesigned. Now increases energy regeneration by 30% while stealthed, and for 20 seconds after breaking stealth.

Warlock

* Chaos Bolt: This spell no longer ignores damage reduction effects of the target.

Warrior

* Blood Frenzy: This talent now provides 5/10% haste instead of 3/6%.
* Bloodthirst: Cooldown reduced from 5 seconds to 4 seconds, and rage cost reduced from 30 rage to 20 rage.
* Juggernaut: This talent now also increases the cooldown on Charge by 5 seconds.

Items

* Death Knight PvP Gauntlets: The chance to refresh a Frost Rune when casting Chains of Ice has been removed. When equipped, these gloves now generate 5 additional runic power whenever Chains of Ice is used.

Raids & Dungeons
Ulduar – Mimiron

* The flight time of Rocket Strikes has been increased, and Rocket Strikes will try to prefer players at range.
* The Leviathan Mk II component of the V-07-TR-0N will become stunned during Phase 4 when the VX-001 component begins to cast the P3Wx2 Laser Barrage ability.
* Proximity mines now deal less damage and have a lower duration. A small arming time has also been added so proximity mines will not immediately detonate on creation.

Bug Fixes

* Druid Tier 8 Balance Set: The 4-piece bonus no longer has its effect consumed by Starfire casts in progress when it triggers. The chance for the effect to be triggered has been reduced down to 8%, as it was originally inflated to compensate.
* Ice Layered Barrier: Upgraded to item level 232. In addition, the stats in the tooltip have been correctly adjusted to 78 spell power, 48 haste rating, 16 mana per 5 seconds, 52 Intellect, and 50 Stamina.
* Pulsing Spellshield: The stats listed in the tooltip for this item were incorrect and have been adjusted. This item provides 69 spell power, 34 haste rating, 42 critical strike rating, 45 intellect, and 45 stamina.

The upcoming major content patch, Call of the Crusade, will bring a host of new features for World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King.

• The Argent Tournament Expands: With the help of Azeroth’s heroes, the Argent Crusade will finish the Argent Coliseum just in time to call for all brave citizens to prepare for battle with the Lich King. New dailies, rewards, and more will be available at the Argent Tournament grounds to lure adventurers into the coliseum.
• Crusaders’ Coliseum: In order to prepare for a siege on Icecrown Citadel, players will be called by the Argent Crusade to test their mettle in the Coliseum. 5-player, 10-player, and 25-player challenges await inside.
• New Battleground: Isle of Conquest, a new large-scale siege Battleground, will be open. The Horde and Alliance will battle head-to-head for control of strategic resources to lay siege to the keeps of their opponents.
• New Arena Season: Season 7 will officially start, paving the way for all-new items and challenges.

"In our next major content patch, druids will find a host of new textures for two major forms, cat and bear. There will be five different designs for each of these forms for the Horde and Alliance. Night elves can choose to change their cat and bear look at any time by visiting the barber shop…"

Basically, there is nothing to complain about except for the fact that if you want to have a different colour, you will have to visit the barber. Or else, you are stuck.

This is one of the biggest complain the forum though.

The biggest complain of all would be no differences between male and female in forms. Oh yes, how can one distinguish between these two sexes?
