I believe Medieval Dragon talked about this upcoming book during his Toy Fair coverage from the Insight Editions book – but the Art of Blizzard book is set to come out October 2012 and has a hefty price of $75.00. The book has 352 pages and features commentary by Blizzard’s own Nick Carpenter, Chris Metzen, and Sam Didier. The book is going to feature over 800 pieces of concept art, paintings, and sketches.

Yeah, the price tag might seem hefty at first – but I bet this book is going to be HUGE and will be an amazing book to add to your collection. To put things in perspective Insight Editions did a FANTASTIC job with the Book of Cain earlier this year and it was about half the price of this book. I can’t wait to get my hands on this one and see what it’s about since they already have a fantastic track record at putting out quality books.

We’ll be sure to review it ASAP once we’re able to get our hands on it.

NOTE: You can preorder this book on Amazon for $45.88 – pretty sweet deal!
