As BlizzCon 2011 introduces World of Warcraft (WoW)’s latest installment Mist of Pandaria (MoP), people have drawn to the conclusion that not only did Blizzard Entertainment lost its mind, but WoW has definitely lost its MMORPG reign as well. Hence, when you get to tell them that WoW is still the number MMORPG in the online game universe, many would rebut to such statement and shout that it has been outshone by Star Wars: The Old Republic. Blizzard Entertainment thinks otherwise. Below are their reasons on claiming that the WoW franchise continues to hold the MMORPG crown.
With the recent release of patch 4.3.2, improvements have been vividly noticed by avid and analyst players alike. First stop is the newly improved and fixed need rewards that keep the characters and their master players on good spirits as they go through raid finder bosses. No damage would definitely befall on your way as vengeance is scrapped out from being activated by other gamers. The attack power of Hawk Aspect is quite exceptional in this patch as it brings forth additional thirty five percent in the game. The Deterrence, on the other hand, brings you a thirty percent damage once activated. For the Arcane Shot, the multi used and famously comforting Lock and Load ability is now not beneficial to the player. More Fireball damage has been reduced with Mages giving a less six percent. With Paladins in the field experiencing a five percent increase, there is now a forty percent base manna tagging along Holy Radiance. Lastly, with Rogues, the Adrenaline Rush will no longer get to activate global cool down. These, ladies and gentlemen, are few of the changes seen in the characters of the game. Blizzard is only starting and keeps the ball rolling for more developments in the patch. So, read along.
As for the actual settings and battles seen in dungeons and raids, there are few notable improvements. Players can get to experience and form same – fraction raids along with other players. Typos fixes in the Dungeon Journal Entries for Dragon Soul have been established as well. The sad part to this is that the gamers can no longer be able to win a certain item all over again.
Other changes that were seen in the game involve: the Vials of Shadows damage which has been totally reduced to a third and activation of Maw of the Dragonlord is achievable through the use of the Holy Word: Sanctuary Healing.
With these amazing improvements in the latest patch, WoW creators are definitely proving that they too can hug the effects of change for the betterment of their pre – loved game and to cater the needs and cravings of their avid gamer fans. Now, can you tell if WoW did lose its MMORPG crown?
