New World of Warcraft players will often be lost in the big World of Azeroth. As such, leveling from their point of view is their only aim of the game notwithstanding the various aspects that makes the said game. To address this dilemma especially for new WoW players, let me reiterate some key areas that you can go in order to fully maximize your leveling potential. Horde players can resort to either of the following key areas: Durotar, Tirisfal Glades, Mulgore and Eversong Woods. Alliance can best go to Elwynn Forest, Azuremyst Isle, Teldrassil and Dun Morogh.
Durotar is an island named after Durotan who is Thrall’s father. This is situated in the eastern coast of Kalimdor. It is geographically bordering the Barrens to the west and Azshara to the north. Tirisfal Glades is on the northern coast of Lordaeron. In here lies the eerie Tirisfal Glades. Mulgore on the other hand is a green and verdant plain which is considered home to the Tauren. This is strategically situated at the foothills of the Stonetalon Mountains to the north and is protected by mountains on all sides. Lastly the Eversong Woods which is also called the Eversong Forest is one reclaimed section of the once Blackened Woods during the Second War. This can be a good starting point for the blood elf race which was duly introduced during the Burning Crusade expansion.
On the side of the alliance they have first the Elwynn Forest. This is also simply called Elwynn which is a huge woodland of hardwoods below the Burning Steppes foothills at the north. The Redrige Mountains is at its east, and to the south is the Duskwood. Azumeryst Isle on the other hand is one of the two islands that constitute Azumeryst Isles. This is one area that is least affected by the crystalline shards. Teldrassil is one island and also a tree off Kalimdor’s northern coast. This is considered a new home for the night elves and also a pure testament of their power and magic. Lastly Dun Morogh is one snowy region between the magma-strewn wasteland and the gentle ridges of Loch Modan. This is considered the sanctuary of the gnomes and the Ironforge dwarves where the Ironforge City is located.
These are just some of the areas you can duly look and proceed if ever you want to level up fast from one to ten. Though, you can pick one place at a time, it would also be best to discover the rest of the lands and see what it can offer you as a new player.
